Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
The academic requirements differ for each post, as detailed below :
- For Junior Scientific Officer (JSO):
- First Class M.Sc./M.S. in any branch of Chemistry/Soil Science/Environmental Science/Microbiology after B.Sc./B.S. in any discipline of Science from a recognized university.
- If a class/division is not awarded, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate is considered equivalent to first class.
- For Junior Environmental Engineer (JEE):
- Option 1: M.Tech./M.E. degree in Environmental Engineering after B.Tech./B.E. degree in Biotechnology, Chemical, Civil, Mining, Environmental, or Textile Engineering.
- Option 2: First Class B.Tech./B.E. Degree in any of the above-mentioned branches of Engineering .
- Similarly, if no division is awarded, 60% marks are required.
Age Limit
- The minimum age to apply is 18 years.
- The maximum age limit is 40 years as of 1st January 2026.
- The upper age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the Rajasthan Government rules.
