Eligibility Criteria
Educational & Skill Qualifications:
- All Posts: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is mandatory.
- Additional Requirements:
- Sub-Inspector (Confidential): Must have Hindi typing speed of 25 WPM, English typing of 30 WPM, and Hindi shorthand dictation at 80 WPM. An ‘O’ Level computer certificate from NIELIT is also required.
- ASI (Clerk): Must have Hindi typing speed of 25 WPM and English typing of 30 WPM. An ‘O’ Level computer certificate from NIELIT or equivalent is required.
- ASI (Accounts): Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a Master’s Diploma in Accountancy. A Hindi typing speed of 15 WPM and an ‘O’ Level computer certificate are required.
Age Limit
Your age must be between 21 and 28 years as of July 1, 2025. This means your date of birth should fall on or after July 1, 1997, and on or before July 1, 2004. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.
